Enhancing community connections in Cincinnati, by reclaiming alleys, sidewalks, and steps for the pedestrian.
A simple sidewalk is all one needs to travel by foot in the city. However, in the CUF neighborhood of Cincinnati, West McMicken Avenue has sidewalks on both sides of the street. You just wouldn’t know it. Erosion has made it nearly impossible to see the sidewalk on the north side of the street, between Eliza Street to nearly Straight Street.
This area is not usually identified as being a part of the student-dense neighborhood. Thus, little attention has been placed on this incomplete street.
We will soon deploy our resources to this sidewalk in need.
In the meantime, be prepared to wait for the bus in the street…
