Spring in Our Steps

Enhancing community connections in Cincinnati, by reclaiming alleys, sidewalks, and steps for the pedestrian.

Website undergoing significant overhaul: visit our social media for up-to-date progress on projects!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our website, in hopes of learning more about Spring in Our Steps!

While updates to our website has been woefully neglected, we have continued to bring daily content to our Instagram and Twitter feeds, as well as periodic updates to our Facebook page. Please visit us there while we work to bring a better website to chronicle our work – through cleanup, programming, advocacy, and preservation of our walkable public corridors! Also, while you’re here, feel free to check out the comprehensive inventory of public alleys in Cincinnati, with maps searchable by neighborhood.

Bringing safer and more vibrant conditions to Cincinnati’s public stairways and alleys is what we do. Learn more about the Peete Alley restoration project Step Up to Art collaborative in this recent story in the Cincinnati Enquirer. And reach out to us with any questions you may have about our work!

About C. Huelsman

"Stuck in the middle of this, don't know if I'm gonna make it" summarizes my internal composition at most points along my personal timeline. Sometimes, more than a little skin must be shed, in order to ensure resilience toward life's perils and mediocrity. This is where things get good.
